First Solo Studio Recording
I recorded the band in the control room, and it's safe to say the session went well. I knew how to set the mics up and felt the most confident I've felt yet doing the mixing desk, though I feel that I will need more sessions in the studio to feel 100% confident. There was another session I was involved in, but it ended up being a bit of a disaster - our task was to record another student rapping, but the student in question lacked confidence and refused to do so, so we spent the lesson doing nothing unfortunately. The microphones were set up and we knew how to play the beat back to the student, but we didn't end up recording him. I felt somewhat confident setting the equipment up and taking them down when done.
