B1: Marketing materials and design
An EPK (electronic press kit) typically contains links
to a band's music, band photos, album art, music videos, social media, and
biography – this is needed to help the artist get recognised. Artists usually
work with promoters on this.
I used Google Blogger to write my EPK because a lot of
people use Google, it’s free, you can update it on the go, and people won’t be
able to hack into it because of Google’s high security.
Marketing is a part of the process of promotion.
